Sales Development Representative

The role

Work worth picking up the phone for.

Heyquip builds equipment rental software that connects the counter, yard and back office. We help rental shops rent, sell and repair equipment in one system.

We’re looking for someone who picks up the phone and follows through. You’ll report to the CEO and have room to test ideas, sharpen your approach and take ownership of your results, with a team that works closely together.

What you’ll do

From the first call to a real meeting.

1. 01

   Start the conversation.

   Call the prospects already in HubSpot. Use email and LinkedIn to support your conversations and follow-up.

2. 02

   Find the right person.

   When a direct phone number or email is missing, call the business. Ask questions, find the right person and keep the contact details current.

3. 03

   Qualify the opportunity.

   Understand whether Heyquip is a fit. Hand off warm opportunities with clear notes so the next conversation starts with context.

4. 04

   Own the meeting.

   Arrange qualified demos with prospect decision makers who understand the purpose and commit to attending. Confirm the date and time, send invitations and reminders, prepare HubSpot notes and follow up on no-shows to reschedule.

   Keep improving.

   Test your messaging, apply feedback and share what you learn. Take ownership of your results and be honest about what’s working.

   Work as one team.

   Communicate with your teammates every day. Share your progress, speak up with your opinions and ideas and come to daily team meetings prepared.

What you bring

Experience. Initiative. Curiosity.

• Proven SDR or outbound sales experience and a record of creating qualified opportunities.
• Initiative, resilience, curiosity and the ability to learn from a “no” and try again.
• Strong spoken and written English for daily sales conversations with English-speaking customers, including in the US. French is an asset.
• A willingness to learn and use HubSpot, AI and a meeting transcription tool such as Granola every day. We can teach the tools; bring your curiosity and use what you learn.
• Clear, proactive communication and ownership of your work in a fully remote team.
